NOTES OF INTEREST

Notes

File formats suitable for printing.

The files we use for printing are: PDF, Illustrator, Corel or JPG in 300 DPI and to the final measure. They must have a safety crop mark of 3 mm inwards and a background bleed of 5 mm.

- The files in Illustrator to convert text to curves and the raster images within the document.

- The files in Corel with the fonts to curves.

- The PDF files with the fonts to curves.

- The files in JPG in CMYK color mode to 300 DPI of resolution and final size.

Please, keep in mind that the monitor shows the colors in RGB and are light colors (colors emit lights), whereas the printing is in CMYK colors; they require the light to refract the colors. These are two different ways to show the colors and many times, they can differ.

If the color is very specific we should make a color sample; this is the only way we can make sure that the color is accurate. Please note the color sample is always available and is free of charge.
